Because I sure do! When I watched this on deviantART, I knew this had to show up on the Newgrounds front page. And it damn well deserves it! If anyone hasn't figured it out, the whole animation is a metaphor for something. There's plenty of clues so watch it once or twice and you'll get it. I'll be showing this to people for weeks. David, you've done it again!

Umm...

Okay, so that was sweet and cute and great and all... but why the heck is this garbage on the front page? No offensive to the author(s), but Newgrounds must really be in a creativity slump if this is the best they can find. I don't like to give bad reviews, but this was just dumb -- I don't know how else to put it.

A pleasant surprise

I'm an otaku, but I never got into the Full Metal Alchemist craze and I don't think I'm going to any time soon. Nevertheless, that was one very impressive animation! All too often with Sonic animations do people totally mess up the character models. I think, however, that was one of the things you nailed perfectly. Also, I haven't seen the Full Metal Alchemist opening, but I can tell that you did a superb job at trying to match scenes and timing with the music (which was sorta catchy, too). All in all, disregarding the content, this is a very well-made Flash.

And regarding the content, GO SONIC!

UNBELIEVABLE... like usual

The amount of time and effort that must go into every scene of your Brackenwood shorts has to be mind-boggling; there's just no other way you could make that look so damn good! Every little detail, even the minutest shadow or sigh, shows, dude, and it just goes to say how professional and capable you are. I totally think stuff like this could make it on TV, no problem. Or once you get enough little shorts, MAKE A DVD COLLECTION -- people WILL buy it! Well, I will buy it....

Great Flash -- end of story. Any less of animator could have totally ruined this, but you nailed it -- congratulations. Not only was everything seamless, detailed, and in sync, but you actually conveyed some of System of a Down's message, too, instead of just some dude going Matrix on a buncha peoples to the same song. It's just a welcome relief to see that someone out there knows what the heck he's doing. Again, great work.
